INSTITUTE OF ECONOMICS

The institute of economics was founded in 2006 on the base of the prestigious economic faculty to provide enough specialists in Economics, Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Commerce and Informatics to satisfy the region needs.
The Institute is composed of 8 departments, seven of them them are academic. More than 2000 students study on the full-time course. 73% of qualified teaching staff have Doctoral and Candidate academic degrees.

SPECIALITIES.

The extensive traditions of preparing specialists of the highest qualification in the economic field provide the constant employment need on the labour-market. The alumni of the Institute of Economics work at the service industry, big city’s enterprises, hold leading positions in the banking, work in the city-hall, and have a successful business in a service industry.

INSTITUTE OF TOURISM AND SOCIAL TECHNOLOGIES

The Institute of Tourism and Social Technologies was established on 1 January 2007, in terms of Sociocultural Service and Tourism Department. The employment need of the highly qualified specialists in the sphere of sociocultural service and tourism defines the foundation of the institute. For the last few years the tourism and hotel sector become high-yield business. The Institute of Tourism and Social Technologies provides the high level of education in the sphere of tourism, sociocultural service, household science, social work, public relation. The high educational level is based on the particular qualification of the teaching staff and a wide range of internship programs. Author’s work-outs help to develop the erudite students. For master classes different leading practitioner in the sphere of tourism and sociocultural service are involved in the process of studying.

The alumni of the Institute of Tourism and Social Technologies work at the different business corporations, advertising agency, social agencies and abroad: in the USA, Japan, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Australia.

SERVICE TECHNIQUES AND TECHNOLOGY FACULTY

Service techniques and technology faculty was founded in 1984 on the basis of Mechanic and Radio Engineering faculty. Highly skilled professors are working here, among them 9 professors, Doctors of Science and 33 PhD associate professors. The faculty includes 7 departments, 4 of them are academic. In recent years new promising specialities appeared at the faculty: «Technological Machines and Equipment», «Radio Engineering», «Electronics and Micro-electronics», «Informatics and Computer Science», «Service».

DESIGN AND APPLIED ART FACULTY

Design and applied art faculty was founded in 1986 to satisfy regional needs in highly qualified design and decorative and applied art specialists. The faculty includes 4 departments, 2 of them are academic. Teaching staff includes 2 Doctors of Science, 10 PhDs, 7 Russian Artist Alliance members, 3 Russian Designer Alliance members. Every year students of the faculty take prize-winning places in different international and Russian contests.
